Sr. Autonomous Systems Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in the entire development lifecycle of autonomous systems, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and implement sensor fusion algorithms to combine data from multiple sensors for accurate state estimation and obstacle detection.
- Design and implement path planning algorithms for autonomous navigation in complex environments.
- Integrate machine learning and deep learning techniques for tasks such as object recognition, behavior prediction, and anomaly detection.
- Perform extensive testing and validation of autonomous systems to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.
- Engage in the fabrication, assembly, and integration of subsystems.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Relevant Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in systems engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in autonomy and embedded system development.
Skills Expected:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Expertise with the Robot Operating System (ROS).
- Experience in path/motion planning, and kinematic and dynamic modeling of robots.
- Experience in integrating software, mechanical, and electrical components into working systems.
- Experience with robotic perception, sensor fusion, and computer vision.
- Superior problem-solving skills and independent decision-making abilities.
- Experience with sensor technologies and data processing techniques used in autonomous systems (e.g., LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS, RADAR).
